Today is the day to get my shop caught up!  Along with that, I need to get it stocked up for the holiday season.  This is my first holiday selling on Etsy so I am not really sure what to expect.  The emails I get from them make it seem like it's a little crazy...so I will see.

I don't have kids but trying to work with two dogs that constantly want to play is difficult enough.  I guess it is about time that I introduce them to you.  Scout is our four year old Lab/Pitbull/Etc. Mix, my little melting pot of the dog world.  She was born on the front porch of a home in downtown Toledo.  On our way out of the Toledo Dog Wardens looking for a dog, a man was bringing her in and we adopted her on the spot.  Her personality is one that I have never came across before.  She loves to play but only when she wants to, she also loves to be petted but of course only when she wants you to touch her.  She is the feisty one of the two that likes to push the boundaries.  She is very similar to her mom! :)

Then after about two years of having one dog it was time to add to the family.  I have always appreciated the beauty and personality of a Great Dane but there was one problem....you don't find many pure breed dogs especially expensive Great Danes up for adoption.  But after only looking on Petfinder.com and local shelters and non-profit organizations for three months we found June.  We adopted her from a fantastic local rescue called Animal House Rescue.  Junes story is that she came from a dreaded puppy mill, she also came with an infection on the back of her thigh the size of a golf ball!  But after her surgery she came home to meet  her new sister Scout.  Let me tell you, it was not love at first sight but they have grown to like each other.  June is our little (well I guess big) lover, with such a playful and childlike personality.   Please adopt and save a life!!!!

My eggs are down and I am on my second cup of joe so I better get to work on getting my shop caught up!

Well I am not starting out this blogging thing too well.  But any how...I recently got new fabric in!!  I am usually not a big fan of floral fabrics but I really like this one.  I think it's because it looks a little old school.  I recently posted this large dog duvet to my shop!
